This course is designed for Nannies who are just entering this field of work, are already working as Nannies or are stay at home mother’s or grandmothers with years of experience who are looking to get back into the workforce – and who understand the importance of the care and education of children.
While you don’t need specific educational training to work as a Nanny, there are some minimum certifications you’ll need to hold.
Working with Children Check (WWCC) from the NSW Government Office of Children’s Guardian is a requirement for people who undertake paid work or volunteer work in child-related positions.

SCN also requires Nannies to have effective written and verbal communication skills, current drivers’ licence and own car to get to and back from assignments. We also require all applicants be an Australian Resident or have their own Tax File Number (TFN).
