Job Description

We are looking for a nanny to work for one of our loving families caring for their 3-year-old girl two afternoons a week in Temeil for 4 weeks. The family lives on a farm and the area provide lots of opportunities to get out and about in the beautiful beachside community and is about halfway between Ulladulla and Batemans Bay.

This is a 4-week placement to support the mother with her three-year-old girl whilst mother cares for her youngest child 7 months.

The family would like a nanny that would engage and provide learning experiences activities with supplies provided by the family and support play time with their daughter.

The nanny should have experience in caring pre-school aged children, competent with assisting the family with preparing the children’s meals, be willing to help organise children’s activities, maintain appropriate child related domestic duties.

Working Hours:

Monday               1.00pm to 5.00pm

Tuesday               1.00pm to 5.00pm          

Very flexible to work in with the right nanny.

Length of Engagement:

4 weeks with a strong possibility this will be ongoing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accompany children to activities
• Clean and tidy children’s areas
• Plan and carry out activities
• Plan and prepare children’s meals

Key Attributes:

• Warm, energetic, fun, outgoing and passionate about caring for children
• Open to a background in Montessori, Steiner or Emilio Reggio philosophies.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Current Covid-19 Training completed
• Current Working with Children Check
• Qualifications in the Childcare Industry

Salary:   

 $25 to $28 paid by the Client, Nanny engaged as an Independent Contractor by the Family
