Terms and Conditions for Corporate Event Care

The below Terms and Conditions for Corporate Care Services are a binding agreement between you as the Client and South Coast Nannies ABN 29 416 096 750 of Nowra in the State of New South Wales, hereinafter referred to as (SCN). Acceptance of Services is an immediate agreement regarding SCN Terms and Conditions.


The below Terms and Conditions are a binding agreement between you as the ‘Client’ and South Coast Nannies ABN 29 416 096 750 of Nowra in the State of New South Wales (hereinafter referred to as (“SCN”). Acceptance of Services is an immediate agreement regarding SCN Terms and Conditions.

SCN refers to the company / South Coast Nannies.
Client refers to the person(s) or company that engages SCN to undertake Event services
Event refers to the Event services provided to the Client.
Nannies refers to the person(s) employed by SCN.
Children refers to the children included in the Event Booking.
Team Leader refers to the Nanny employed as the Coordinator of the Event services.

Obligations for Event Services

SCN is responsible for providing a safe environment for Nannies when providing Event Services. SCN and its Nannies are required to comply with any legislation relating to Industrial Relations and Safe Work.


All information and services provided to SCN are treated as Private and Confidential.


With all Event Services our Nannies are covered with full employee coverage of Public Liability Insurance and Workers Compensation.


5.1. SCN Ratios are a combination of legislative standards and our experience of providing high quality care for Event Services. SCN reserves the right to adjust the ratios in order to provide high quality care and safety for the Children and Nannies. SCN Ratios will be adjusted dependent on the number/s of Children with additional needs. A minimum of two staff will be required at the Event for supervision requirements, with the exception of Floater Nannies.

Babies under 12 months 1 : 2 4 to 5 years 1 : 4
1 to 2 years 1 : 3 5 to 7 years 1 : 4
2 to 3 years 1 : 4 7 + years 1 : 4
3 to 4 years 1 : 4  

5.2. If the number of estimated children goes over the Child : Nanny Ratios, Team Leaders have the discretion (in consultation with SCN) to make the decision whether to allow extra children into the Service. If the Event requires an additional Nanny for the safety of the children, an additional Nanny will be sought and costs will be deducted from the Clients Credit Card details. If an additional Nanny cannot be sourced, those children cannot be included into the  Event Services and must remain in the sole care of their parents.


Estimates for Event Services are reflective of the individual requirements detailed by the Client on the “Request an Estimate Form”. All Estimates include a required set up and pack down time which depend on the Event Services required. Should the number of children using the Event services increase or decrease, a Revised Estimate will be provided by SCN to the Client via email.


To secure the Event services, the Client will be required to pay a non-refundable Booking Fee.

The balance of the Client’s Event services is due 6 weeks prior to the date. Failure to pay the balance of payment at this time, will jeopardise your booking. SCN guarantees not to increase fees unless changes are made to the final Booking.

After full payment has been made, no revised quotations or reductions in the Service Fee will be made for children not attending. If the Event service exceeds the agreed Booked hours, an adjustment for additional hours will be deducted from the Client’s Credit Card details provided.

Security and Privacy

8.1 SCN respects the right to your Privacy, and that you have control in how your personal information is collected and used. All information entered on this form will be treated as strictly confidential. Please refer to our “Privacy Policy” which complies with the Privacy Act 1988.

8.2 SCN follows the PCI Security Standards (PCI) and abides by its comprehensive standards and supporting materials to enhance payment card data security. PCI Security Standards are technical and operational requirements set by the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) to protect cardholder data.  SCN uses PCI Compliance with NAB Transact in all its transactions.

Crew Meal and Refreshments

If the Event services occurs over mealtimes, a Crew Meal shall be provided for the Nanny by the Venue paid for by the Client. Refreshments will be provided for the Nannies during Booking.


10.1 Cancellation of Booking (Client)

Cancellations made by the Client more than 4 weeks prior to the Event service, will result in a full refund of the Service Fee, less the Booking Fee. Cancellations made within the 2-week period prior to the Event service, will receive a refund of 50% of the Service Fee, less the Booking Fee.

10.2 Cancellation of Booking (SCN)

In the event that the Client breaches the terms of this Agreement, SCN is entitled to terminate this Agreement in writing to the Client.


Notwithstanding the terms of this Agreement, the Client acknowledges and agrees that SCN does not accept any liability for losses or damages arising from or during the provision of its Services to any person or item. SCN is not liable to the Client in any way whatsoever for any loss, damage or liability suffered as a result of or as a consequence of the terms of this Agreement. SCN shall not, under any circumstances, accept responsibility for the personal belongings of the Children, Parents/Guardians and Guests.

In relation to Children

10.1. A child cannot be accepted into the Event service unless his/her Parent/ Guardian is on site and remains at the Venue for the duration of the Event.

10.2. Parents/Guardians are required to Sign In/Out on SCN’s Attendance Form on arrival and departure from the Service.

10.3. SCN will not accept children who are suffering from an illness. Any child deemed to be ill will remain under the sole responsibility of his/her Parent/Guardian.

10.4. Should a child become unwell whilst at the Event service, the Parent/Guardian will be informed and returned immediately to the Parent/Guardian.


Any claim or discrepancy resulting from or relating to this Agreement, or the breach thereof, shall be addressed directly by SCN, the Client and Legal Representatives.

SCN Reserves the right to review and adjust these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. Latest changes will be noted and updated on South Coast Nannies website.
