Excellent opportunity for one of our Nannies for a permanent 4 x Day After School position in Tapitallee. Our busy family looking for a caring, patient, and engaging nanny to support their two sons’ learning and development after school.
A nanny that is patient, open-minded, and compassionate and who appreciates each child’s unique qualities. Their ideal nanny would be curious by nature and genuinely loves learning and watching children develop and grow. A nanny who embraces creativity, values individuality, and finds joy in fostering each child’s potential would be a perfect match for our family.
They are seeking an experienced Nanny who is fun, friendly and engaging nanny. Our family would appreciate a Nanny to support them in the care of the children, follow the family’s daily routine and engaged the children in activities. Family resides on a large property that offers plenty of space for outdoor play and would like a nanny who is comfortable being active outdoors. The boys love biking, trampolining, and exploring the garden.
Working Hours:
Potential for additional hours in the future. Open to arranging extended hours during school holidays
Monday 3.30pm to 5.30pm
Tuesday 3.30pm to 5.30pm
Wednesday 3.30pm to 5.30pm
Thursday 3.30pm to 5.30pm
Start:
20/01/25 starting two weeks before the new school year. This early start will allow the children to get comfortable with their nanny and settle into their routine before school resumes.
Length of Engagement:
An initial 6-month contract then if all is well extending the contract to 12 months
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accompany children to activities
- Clean and tidy children’s areas
- Plan and carry out activities
- Plan and prepare children’s meals
- Supervise homework
- Tidying
Key Attributes:
- Pet Friendly 1 dog Doberman
- Familiarity with neurodiversity, particularly ADHD, and age-appropriate approaches in reading, math, and creative arts will help nurture our children’s cognitive and emotional growth.
Previous work experience with this age group - Strong background in early childhood or primary education highly desired or a Nanny with a healthcare background, such as nursing, are highly desirable for their added expertise in understanding children’s needs and managing health concerns
- Current First Aid and CPR certification with specific training in anaphylaxis management and EpiPen
- Current Working with Children Check
Salary:
$35 to $40an hour + Super
